The first international trip since the pandemic started in 2019. Now living on the west coast of Canada, we were able to get a direct flight to Kauai, Hawaii. Nicknamed the garden Isle, this lush, tropical island is a nature lovers paradise. With huge volcanic mountains erupting from its centre, crystal blue waters at every turn, and overgrown jungle, there was something new to see every day. We were spoiled with an abundance of wildlife as well, with sea turtles, dolphins, humpback whales and tropical fish.
